St. John’s Lutheran School offers education opportunities to any student age 2 through 8th grade. All of these programs are fully recognized by the State of Illinois, which conducted its most recent evaluation of the school during the 2013/2014 school year and will visit again in spring of 2019.
Then during the 2014/2015 school year the faculty, administration, parents, and school board conducted a thorough self-study as prescribed by National Lutheran School Accreditation. The results of the self-study provide the basis for a School Action Plan that outlines the exciting work of the subsequent 5 years. Full accreditation was granted for St. John’s school by National Lutheran School Accreditation as a result of their visit to the school and evaluation of its programs and plans. Now as the most recent accreditation cycle nears its completion, St. John's is beginning work on a thorough self-study that will prepare the school for an accreditation visit by the National Lutheran School Accreditation team in the spring of 2020.
