St. John’s teachers emphasize meeting each child’s needs. A challenging faith-based curriculum is utilized to develop high-level thinking skills. These skills include such elements as communication, collaboration, creativity, technology literacy, information literacy, and social skills.

Small class sizes
St. John’s Lutheran School provides a safe school environment where smaller class sizes greatly enhance individualized student learning.
Challenging traditional curriculum
Using a traditionally based instructional style in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, St. John’s teachers emphasize meeting each child’s needs. Challenging curriculum is utilized to develop high-level thinking skills.
Technology enhanced
Computer literacy and technology are integrated within each classroom to enhance student learning.
Enriched learning
Enriching activities such as art, music instruction and performance opportunities are also offered.
Service Projects
Christian service is an important value that St. John’s works to instill in its student body. Past service projects included Samaritans Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, collecting hygiene products and packing them in backpacks for the homeless, and collecting donations for Heifer International to name just a few.
